When should I visit a cardiologist?

You should consult a cardiologist if you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, palpitations, frequent dizziness, leg swelling, or if you have a family history of heart disease. A preventive evaluation is also recommended from age 40.

How long does a cardiology consultation last?

An initial consultation lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. It includes complete medical history, physical examination, electrocardiogram, and if necessary, additional studies such as echocardiogram or stress test are scheduled.

Do you accept medical insurance?

We currently offer private consultation. We provide detailed invoices and receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Contact us for more information about costs.

What studies does Dr. Jimenez perform in the office?

In the office we perform electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, stress test, Holter monitoring, and nuclear cardiology studies. All studies are immediately interpreted by Dr. Jimenez for an accurate diagnosis.

Does Dr. Jimenez speak English?

Yes, Dr. Jimenez sees patients in both Spanish and English, making it easy for international patients and tourists visiting Cancun.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring an official ID, a list of current medications, previous studies (electrocardiograms, blood tests, X-rays), and a summary of your medical history or previous surgeries.

What is the digital cardiac symptom triage form?

We offer a guided digital intake that helps organize your cardiac symptoms and estimate urgency at a preliminary level. It does not replace medical consultation, but it helps you schedule care with clearer information for your doctor.
